Senior Engineer - £50K – SW London
We are looking for a senior infrastructure engineer to support the delivery of the infrastructure refresh from design to configuration and migration stages.
My client has fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior infrastructure project engineer to work for a technology focused financial software house based in South West London providing the perfect foot into the finance industry.
The successful candidate must be able to interact and liaise between all technical resources and users to ensure smooth transition for the project. They must be enthusiastic and pro-active in their approach and obviously experienced working to deadlines.
Essential Qualifications
- MCSE
- VCP
- CCNA
Essential Skills:
- Building Windows Servers 2003 – 2008
- Installing, configuring and supporting Windows SQL 2008
- Knowledge of SANs and best practices
- VMWare best practices and deployment
- Cisco Network Environments; core routing and switching
- Supporting, installing and configuring Exchange 2007 and 2010 infrastructures
- Configuring ad administering firewalls
- Windows software deployment
- Patch management technologies
- McAfee technologies
