	latest news       Pre Sales Consultant – Software House – Reading - £50-60k / £120k OTE (Linux, Product Demonstration) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pre Sales Consultant (Software/Linux/Open Source) to join a niche software house in Reading. Due to the highly technical nature of this role you will have strong knowledge of Linux systems, Open Source products preferably monitoring systems and have a strong back ground in Pre Sales, Technical consultancy and previous Linux administration knowledge. The successful Pre Sales Consultant will join a highly successful software house who specialise in Open Source software products, there products are predominantly based around systems monitoring and management application software. Key Skills: Providing Product Demonstrations Linux Nagios / Puppet (Desired not essential) Systems Management Strong client engagement Communicating technical information to non technical professionals. This role will most suit Pre Sales consultants that have a genuine passion for technology and actively add to the Open Source community. You will have the chance to work with some very high profile clients including: Microsoft and Allianz.
