Network Engineer (Apache, Cisco, MySQL) – London - £40-£50K
We are working on behalf of a London based company who deliver business solutions centred on transforming data into intelligence in the form of web applications for the public and private sector included some major blue chip clients.
They are urgently seeking a Network Engineer with very strong experience with web applications using Cisco networks, apache web servers and MySQL databases.
The successful candidate will be able to implement and support Cisco networks in secure environments and be skilled in managing Linux and/or Windows servers running internet services.
This role will require the successful network engineer to pass a SC security clearance check and will therefore not have been out of the country for long than 6months in the past 5years.
Due to the nature of the clientele; experience working with the public sector would be advantageous.
Key Skills:
- Cisco device configuration
- TCP/IP knowledge
- VPN Configuration
- 5 years minimum experience in a network engineering role
- Experience with Apache or equivalent open source web server
- MySQL or MS SQL or Oracle database experience
Desirables:
- SC Security Clearance
- CCNA/CCNP or higher
- Other Networking qualifications
